Shatera Walters graduated from The Community College of Baltimore County’s School of Health Professions Radiography Program in 2015 with an Associates of Science in Radiologic Sciences. Upon graduation, she worked as a technologist at The University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. She worked her way from staff radiologic technologist to chief technologist in a few short years. Aside from her full-time position with UCMC, in 2017 she became an adjunct faculty member for her alma mater CCBC where she taught lab and held tutoring sessions. In 2019, she graduated from Northwestern State University of Louisiana with a Bachelor’s of Science in Radiologic Sciences. Ms. Walters became a clinical coordinator with the Radiography Program at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2021.
