Nicole Seward, BSRT(R)(MR)

Program Co-Director, MRI Technical Educator

Nikki Seward graduated magna cum laude from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Imaging. In 2009, Nikki attended the Radiography Program at the Johns Hopkins Schools of Medical Imaging, and in 2010 she attended the MRI Program at the Johns Hopkins Department of Radiology. She began her professional career in 2010 as an MRI Technologist at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in the inpatient department, and was promoted to Pediatric Senior MRI Technologist in 2014. Nikki assumed the role of MRI Technical Educator in 2017, and during this time became co-director of the Johns Hopkins Department of Radiology’s MRI Program. She has taught the MRI Protocols course in the MRI Program, and is now currently the instructor for the MRI Physics course. Nikki enjoys the field of MRI because it is continuously evolving to improve the patient experience, and there is always something new to learn.
