Edward Yuhanna earned his Bachelor of Arts before joining the Johns Hopkins Schools of Medical Imaging Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program in 2014, where he graduated as valedictorian in 2015 and remains a very proud alumnus.
Ed began his career at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, gaining clinical experience across multiple specialties. He holds American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography credentials in abdomen, OB/GYN, pediatric, vascular, and musculoskeletal sonography.
Ed returned to his alma mater in 2018 as an adjunct ultrasound physics instructor, where he played a key role in strengthening and updating the ultrasound physics curriculum. He became Clinical Education Coordinator in 2020 and served as Interim Program Director from Summer 2022 through Spring 2023, continuing to contribute to curriculum development and overall program advancement.
Ed deeply loves the work he does, and is widely respected by students for his clarity, support, and commitment to educational excellence as well as their success and preparation for their futures as sonographers.
